Welcome to the MABGA Golf League home page.
To read the summary and detail information on how to qualify to play in the
Middle Atlantic Blind Golf league, learn the league handicapping calculations,
understand the scoring system and studying the league rules, go to the
Golf Rules webpage.
The 2012 MABGA Golf league will resume again
next year and all current league participants are
automatically enrolled in next year's roster. Any new members interested
in joining the league must shoot an unadjusted gross score of 70 or better for
nine holes to qualify. If you have any questions or are
interested in playing, you can send an email to the league chairman at
golfleague@mabga.org.
Playoff Summary
Among all the rain out we have had this
year; we finally completed the 2011 MABGA Golf League and congratulations to
this year’s winner, Mike Connell. Mike defeated Mario 2 up with 1 hole left to
play.
Mike quickly took charge of the match
scoring 3 pars early in the competition putting Mario down 3 holes with 4 holes
remaining. Mario put on a late charge winning 1 and tying 2 of the next 3
holes, but in the end, Mario could not overcome the early deficit.
I want to thank all this year’s
participants and hoped you enjoyed the league as much as I did. I had a blast.
I will be sending out a questionnaire shortly reviewing some of the league rules
and asking your opinion on how to make the league even better for next year.
